Make the Lone Star patchwork according to the directions included in the kit (or our free pattern found HERE) except cut the border fabric 4 @ 2 ¾” wide and cut the fabric included for binding also 4 @ 2 ¾” wide. Sew each border on to the Star patchwork. Make 20 Log Cabin blocks from a kit or from our free pattern. Lay out as shown above (or turn them in any arrangement you like!) and stitch together.

The quilt below uses 48 Log Cabin blocks and measures 77 x 77”
